Is red a neutral? If you're like me and think it goes with absolutely everything, YES! Also, if you're The Row, red is used as interchangeably as black and cream.
Even as someone with an all-neutral all the time wardrobe, I couldn't resist jumping on the red train. Turns out, if you are color-shy, there are so many ways to incorporate it into your everyday look.
Footwear
This is my favorite way to add color to a look. Red shoes are always in style, especially in the form of ballet flats. I also love adding a red bag, but we'll get into that.

Mark my words, these shoes are going to be huge. I suspect a jelly shoe trend is in the future! If you told me The Row was making a jelly shoe in bright red and blue, I wouldn't have believed it. Put me down for a pair of these in the spring, please.

Red sock perfection from Tibi Spring 2024. This is how I dipped my toes (get it?) into the red trend without going overboard or too much out of my comfort zone. A pair of red socks with an all-neutral outfit is the easiest way to discreetly add color in an unexpected way. Red socks with loafers or flats with some cropped pants or a maxi skirt is chef's kiss.
Shirts

The Row always gives me validation when styling with bold colors because this is exactly how I would wear bright red. And while I'd love to be able to spend this much on a gorgeous red shirt, there are so many good alternatives out there. I found one at Anthropologie that has a similar oversized look without the hefty price tag.
Pants

I'm copying this entire look. These red pants by The Row are the most beautiful shade of red and look amazing with gray and beige. Plus, there's something about red pants that are equal parts powerful and fun. Throw on a warm sweater and a coat for winter and transition them into spring and summer with a simple white tee and mesh flats.
